MTB brake / grip position tip for improved jumping

Repositioning of your brake lever facilitates one finger braking, allowing you to hold on with three fingers and keep a finger on the brakes at ALL times, including while jumping. This simple tip will improve your jumping confidence and ability.

  3. I just find it funny most people don’t realism that. Break levers are levers for a reason, the leverage is best used at the position you just put it in and provides maximum strength with only one finger.
